Hi, welcome to my profile! :)
I'm Michael, 21 years old and on a journey to meet new people and get to know some of the many beautiful perspectives on life.

Soon I'll start studying in Germany and would love to explore Canada for a bit in August and September 2023. After hearing a lot of wonderful stories of friends and family using WorkAway, I also wanted to embark on an adventure of travel, connecting with local people in parts of the world I don't know yet and discovering a lot of awesome places. :)

Personally I greatly enjoy doing hikes in the woods and mountains, playing music either for my own or with other people together, going on bike tours with friends and learning about animals and nature with a special fondness of interesting funfacts.
I'm an energetic, open-minded person who loves to try out new stuff spontaneously and also enjoys relaxed evenings watching a film or playing card/board games. For me, it's wonderful getting to know different cultures through shared activities like that and listening to each other's thoughts, interests and stories.

That's why I'm on WorkAway, excited to learn new skills and learning a lot of the people I meet. :D

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Some of the work I've done so far are building and doing the gardening work on green roofs, occasionally helping doing some DIY-building and repairing like sheds, bikes and other home stuff.
My native language is German, in addition, I'm fluent in English and know a little bit of French, wanting to improve the latter one.
I'm able to take care of children and engage with them in many different sorts of activities as I worked in holiday camps and youth groups at home. Music is also a great way for me to connect with people.
From home I'm also used to different work around the house and in the household, especially like to cook and bake, trying out new recipes and styles of cooking. In addition, I really enjoy gardening and growing vegetables and fruit.
As I'm new to WorkAway, I don't have a lot of experience with all these things internationally, but with wide range of interests, I'm always happy and curious to extend my knowledge and skills and learn how to deal with new tasks!
