Hi, I am Kim
I just finished high school in Germany and am taking a gap year at the moment traveling Australia and New Zealand.
Since my childhood I have been traveling with my family through Europe with a camper van in my school holidays where my passion for different languages, cultures, nature and being outdoors comes from. At home we have a big garden where l am always happy to help my mother out and I also worked for a neighbor to help him get rid of his weed.
I did an exchange in England for four Month when I was 15 and just love to discover new cultures and countries. To be active and always curious is a really important part of my life.
In Australia I worked in a hostel helping in construction like building bed bunks and also already did some workaways where I helped mainly gardening and working around the house.
I love to be creative, draw, write, and read. At home I work in the cinema and would love to study directing after my gap year.
Also music is a big passion of mine. At home I play the piano and the drums and would love to take singing lessons and start to learn how to play the guitar.
But for now I would just love to build a life here in New Zealand for myself. Living with a family and helping them out and maybe even finding a job next to it.
I do love to work hard and am looking forward to creat an unforgettable memory not just for me but also for my host.

To speak a language is an opportunity to communicate and connect with people from other countries in a unique and deeper way so I really would love and be open to always learn a new language. I had Latin and French in school and I can speak my native language German fluently and also English pretty well. I could also tech those two but mainly German.

I love to be creative. I could help with painting or building, just doing stuff with the hands
I could also help to renovate a house as I already did that when me and my family bought a new house and did most of the work ourself and I also already helped to renovate a hostel- I am no professional but I can definitely do the simple work
I have experience in gardening- I have no specific knowledge of plants but I do love to work outside and in the garden
I also have experience in customer service so I could work in service or just with other people

I would love to build myself a life in New Zealand. Living in a family experiencing the daily life and maybe even finding a job next to it.
