Hii, my name is Kiki or Kiek :) I'm 22 years. I'm from The Netherlands, currently living in Utrecht in a student house with 21 roommates, very cozy. Last year I finished my bachelor Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology. After studying 4 years I'm so so so excited to spend time in nature and go on some cool adventures.
I have always felt a big curiosity about humans around me and their way of living. During my studies I read a lot about different cultures and societies. Now I'm very excited to go outside of The Netherlands and meet new people and learn about different ways of living!
I consider myself as an open minded person. I try to perceive the world with open arms. Besides, I find it important to be aware of my own prejudices towards the world and try to be aware of how to change them. I find it important that everyone feels valued and heard. I'm looking forward to get out of my comfort zone and go on a solo trip! During this adventure I would like to take part in peoples daily life and exchange thoughts and world views.
I feel like I can grow in my communication skills and stay in contact with myself. This is why I'm interested in taking meditation classes and learn more about how to be in peace with my own self.
I like cooking and during my gap year I experimented with some new recipes (I'm not a good cook per se but I like it :) I also like being creative and learned some new skills like knitting, crocheting and knitting.

I would be interested to learn Spanish but it's not my main priority . I don't have any Spanish language skills yet. I'm a quarter Spanish and my father speaks Spanish fluently. It would be nice to speak Spanish with my father in the future.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
During the last years I developed some creative skills like knitting, crocheting and sewing. I like to be creative and can help with for example painting walls, DIY projects, etc.
Through my bachelor I feel like I also developed some social skills. I learned the value of listening, creative thinking and trying to understand eachother. I feel like this could be conducive for the creation of a positive group dynamic.
I am an open person and have my arms wide open to do new stuff, learn and exchange with hosts and other workawayers.

Was noch ...
I am a huge fan of sports. I would love to do some hikes and maybe climbing (have some experience with that). I am very interested in learning more about a sustainable lifestyle/farming. I try to make sustainable lifestyle decisions (buying secondhand clothing, eating no meat, buying eco friendly personal care products, etc.) but I don't have a lot of knowledge about eco farming.
