Hi I’m Katie from Lancashire, England
I love to travel and at the minute i'm enjoying spending some time traveling the UK. I really enjoy connecting with like minded travellers, hearing stories about new places to explore and experiencing different ways of living.

I love being out in nature, by the ocean, in the mountains or just being able to explore the surrounding areas of where I am staying.
I have worked in several different locations with a variety of jobs over the years, working as part of a team or individually. I always take a lot of pride in my work and like to do a good job of anything that is required from me and go the extra mile by using my initiative when needed.

I made the decision last year to travel the world full time whilst working remotely from my laptop. I currently work as an independent travel agent and content creator and I love to create travel content documenting my travel journey.

I try to live as much of a healthy lifestyle as possible whilst I am traveling. I enjoy going for long walks in nature, on the beach, going to the gym (if available) and just generally anything that will keep me fit and healthy. I'm always up for trying new things.

I'm currently looking for an opportunity that will allow me to explore more of the UK and experience a new adventure whilst helping a host with jobs they need doing and working on my business in my spare time.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Throughout my work life at home and my travels I have experience in the following:

- Social Media (I currently work as a content creator)
- Teaching English ( I recently stayed with a family through the workaway programme assisting them with their conversational English and teaching the children words and phrases)
- Dog care / Training ( I recently looked after 25 dogs, took them on twice daily runs in the fields, trained some to walk on a lead, taught them to play catch and return the ball, cared for one who had an ulcer in his eye, making sure he was well looked after and had his eye drops throughout the day, socialised and fed the puppies.
- Sales (I currently work as a travel agent, have sold Energy Efficiency Projects in previous job)
- Reception duties ( For hotels, hostels, Energy company)
- Administration / Operations (I previously worked as Operations Manager for an Energy Efficiency company)
- Housekeeping (For hotels, guest houses and hostels at home and on my travels)
- Bar Tending (Bars and nightclubs at home and on my travels)
- Waitressing ( Cafes/ bars on my travels)
- Farm work (I spent 5 months in Australia assisting in budding Almond trees. In this time I also planted trees, Weeded, general garden maintenance.)


I always enjoy learning new skills and love new challenges.
I am a quick leaner and once I am shown how to complete a task and told what needs doing I am happy to just get on with it.
