Beschreibung

Hello! My name is Kaja and I'm from Poland. Most of my adult life I worked as an English teacher while I did my bachelor's in Warsaw, Poland and an MA in Aberdeen, Scotland. I travel a lot and I love working with people, especially in hospitality. My first workaway was in Conil de la Frontera, in Spain, where I worked as an au pair for three months. After that, I spent five months working on the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland, at an award-winning B&B An Riasc. This year I spent two months working on a campsite in Cornwall called Cornish Tipi Holidays. All of those were amazing experiences. I'm looking for a position in hospitality and another place where I can leave the best things I have to offer:)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

During the summer of 2021 I was volunteering in a mountain shelter in Bieszczady Mountains, in Poland. I took care of our garden, chopped wood, prepared meals for the guests and cleaned the shelter. I also talked, and played with the guests and guests' children. Taking care of people and making sure they have good, care-free time is something that comes very naturally for me. I have also been horseriding and working with horses since I was 10 years old. In Spain, where I was working as an au pair, I taught English to two children. I have also been driving them to school, cleaning, cooking, and helping with small tasks. There, I practiced my Spanish and cooking skills. As a student of Creative Writing I love to take on projects where I get to write but I also like to express myself through photography and painting. This summer I hitchiked a sailboat to Norway during the Tall Ships Races in Aberdeen 2025, and spent 2 weeks working on it with my crew. I am always up for learning something new and I'm picking up things very quickly.
