Hi there! My name is Kaelyn Reed and I am a 22 year old Senior at Baylor University in Texas in the United States. It has always been my dream to go abroad, especially in Europe! I am from Dallas, Texas in the United States!

I am studying Child and Family Studies at my university now and enjoy spending my extra time nannying, working at a children's daycare near my school, serving in the children's ministry in my church, spending time with friends, coaching a soccer team, and doing anything outside (riding bikes, running, and playing sports).

I have worked at summer camps as a counselor for the past three years with children and I have nannied during the school years for the past seven years. I am licensed, CPR certified, certified lifeguard, and extremely experienced in working with children. I also often work with adults and children with special needs. Last summer, I also worked as a lifeguard and on maintenance at a summer camp, running the campgrounds/ cleaning for seven weeks and cooking in the kitchen for three weeks. I love to clean and I love working with children of all ages.

I am looking for a family in Europe from the middle of May to the first part of June to nanny, cook, clean, and teach for. I value my Christian religion, being outdoors, traveling, new experiences, and learning. I love trying new things through traveling and learning new cultures. I have traveled across the States and once to Belize but I have never been to Europe! I have lots and lots of energy, especially when I spend time around children, and I am commonly described as joyful, friendly, social, and thoughtful.

Along with currently studying children's development in school, I have served in the children's ministry at my church for the past three years, worked in a children's daycare for the past two years, and worked as a children's soccer coach for the last two years. I have nannied for the past seven years for multiple different families with a wide variety of ages. I went to Belize, Central America, on a mission trip in high school where we put on a summer camp for children.

I also grew up playing many different sports including soccer, cheer, dance, volleyball, and lacrosse.

Along with my experiences, I worked as a lifeguard last summer on the Pacific Ocean. I worked as a cook in the kitchen for three weeks at this summer camp. In addition, I have cleaning experience as I worked on a maintenance crew and cleaning cabins and bathrooms last summer for seven weeks. At this camp, I learned how to start a campfire, tie boat knots, and swim with dolphins!

I am fluent in English and highly skilled in American Sign Language. I took Latin for eight years as well, so I am familiar with the root words from many different languages!

I have five siblings, three of them being younger, so I have experience living with and helping raise younger children. My favorite activities to do with my younger siblings are playing card games, watching movies, or playing soccer in the backyard! I love trying new things and being challenged as well!
