Beschreibung

Hi I am Julia from Germany. Since I am a child I always wanted to travel because in Germany I never felt really right and home. My grandma is from Korea, so I feel connected to Asia, but I've never been in Korea. It's a bit scary to explore a part of your identity. But now I decided to follow my roots, thats why I am in Korea for the next three months. I want to learn about the culture, the life and follow the steps my grandma did when she was young. So I really want to stay and work in a place where I can explore the korean culture.

The best moments while travelling were always the exchange with other people, talking about life or just to be with each other, laugh with each other, also when you not speak the same language. I also try to do these exchanges in Germany so I grounded an organisation ("Über den Tellerrand Stuttgart") where people with and without escape experience come together and cooking together dishes from all over the world. I want to create a room where all people, no matter whitch nationality, sex, age come together, can connect with each other and where prejudices can be eliminated.
While travelling I am also interested in art (I studied Voice Art) and in work in the nature. I want to be connected with nature, animals and practical work. I want to learn more about the life around me. Where is my food coming from and what work is behind it? So it would be very nice to learn more about these processes.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am a good cooker I think, so I do it since I am 7 years old, because I loved to cook for my family. I speak English and German and I have experiences with kids, because I did an internship in a primary school and worked for a long time in a kids theatre. At the moment I work on stages and as a speaking/voice trainer. I also have experience with animals and farming. So I would love to work more in nature :)
