[ENG] Hello! I'm Gioia, 40-years-old, from Italy. I've studied social education, Primary school teaching and anthropology; I work with children as a primary teacher and in the past I also worked with socially disadvantaged adults and adolescents and in kindergartens.

In my free time I love travelling, hiking, diving, snorkeling, playing music, dancing and yoga, learning languages, watching documentaries.....
I traveled especially around Asia and the middle East and I had two amazing Workaway experiences as a volunteer English and kindergarten teacher (in Myanmar and Nepal). During Summer 2020 and 2023 I volunteered in the Italian and French Alps, working in farms and pastures with goats, sheep, cows and organic farming. I love volunteering experiences as a way to learn from, and live in contact with local communities.
I love travelling independently, meeting people from different cultures and spending time with them, learning from cultural realities that are in danger of disappearing.

I am an open-minded, independent, calm person; I am precise at work and have good adaptation skills.
I like teaching to and playing with children and working in contact with people, but I also love outdoor work, taking care of animals and nature. I would like to gain more experience in: mountain farming, mountain refuges and hostels management, teaching English and Italian abroad.
I wish, one experience at a time, to expand my skills and knowledge towards a more sustainable lifestyle, to make friends and to sharpen my sensitivity towards the beauty of life.


[ITA] Ciao! Sono Gioia, ho 40 anni, sono italiana. Ho studiato educazione, formazione primaria e antropologia e ho lavorato come educatrice con adulti, adolescenti e richiedenti asilo e come insegnante (di italiano, inglese, scuola primaria e infanzia).
Nel tempo libero amo viaggiare, fare trekking, fotografare, fare immersioni, suonare il pianoforte, guardare documentari...

Negli ultimi anni ho viaggiato in Asia e Medio Oriente e ho avuto due meravigliose esperienze di volontariato come insegnante di inglese (in Myanmar e Nepal). Durante le estati 2020 e 2023 ho lavorato alla pari nelle Alpi italiane e francesi in allevamenti di capre e pecore e in un orto biologico. Amo il volontariato come modo di imparare da, e stare in stretto contatto con le comunità locali.
Amo viaggiare in modo indipendente, incontrare le persone del posto ed essere testimone di mondi culturali che rischiano di scomparire.

Sono una persona curiosa, di mentalità aperta, indipendente, calma; sono precisa sul lavoro e ho buone capacità di adattamento.
Sono portata al lavoro con i bambini e con le persone in generale, inoltre mi piace lavorare all'aperto a contatto con la natura e gli animali. Mi piacerebbe fare esperienze di lavoro in allevamenti di montagna, rifugi, ostelli, insegnamento all'estero.
Ho il desiderio di ampliare le mie capacità e conoscenze per acquisire uno stile di vita più sostenibile, di fare nuove amicizie e affinare la mia sensibilità verso la bellezza della vita.
