I've travelled quite a lot those past few years and met many people in many different places, mainly from workaway, woofing, house sitting and trust roots. I'm good with animals, as I was once in charge of 40 huskies, chickens and horses for one week all alone in a remote area of Sweden. I was also a cook (my only degree) and responsible of volunteers in a Buddhist oriented woofing community for about a year, in the North of Scotland. I'm a peaceful man, easy going, reliable and trustworthy, and I love taking good care of other people's home. I'm patient and calm, mindful of other people, and I value those who share thr same qualities. 😊

I started to work at 17 as a cook, then tried a few different things. Before my travels in 2019, when I left everything behind, I was a self-taught programmer and did some freelance and teaching in that trade. And before that, I was a journalist and chief editor of a magazine about historical video games for seven years, and was then in charge of a dozen of freelance writers. I also own a professional driver certificate, with a specialisation in security and protection. A totally different life!

Today I don't do programming anymore, but I can still teach the basics, and assist with computer stuff if needed, even though I prefer cooking and doing basic stuff (I'm not a carpenter, sorry!). I spend most of my free time walking, writing and reading. Give me some trees and rustling leaves, and I'll be happy 😊.

I'm a philosopher, but not a boring one 😜 I like good food and good people (I'm French), and I value cohesion, wisdom and serenity above everything else. I'm pragmatic and open minded, I believe in the daily life, and not so much in concepts and theories.

I chased sheep in Scotland, ran after dogs in Sweden, burnt various meals here and there, enjoyed cleaning in Finland, cherished the soil in New Zealand, cut trees in Portugal, house sitted in France and the UK, helped a carpenter, almost lost an eye putting up fences, welcomed people in B&Bs, taught programming, played with kids, baked, cooked, tidied, and I've learnt, and I've enjoyed. 🤗
