Hello, my name is Joseph (UK) and my partner is Rosalind (USA). We are currently travelling the British Isles together for the next four months. We hope to discover more about the land and the culture while meeting and helping other people interested in sustainable lifestyles. We are both quick learning, curious, silly, friendly, and very hardworking people.
Rosalind is 26 and an artist and avid gardener from San Francisco, California. She was the head gardener on a 40 acre off-the-grid property in Northern California for 3 years. She has experience building greenhouses, canning and preserving harvests, laying foundations and other odd jobs that come along with sustainable living. She is also a painter and muralist and loves to add a creative touch to whatever projects she helps with.
I am 28, a Chef and have been travelling the world since 2016 supporting myself through odd jobs and workaway projects. Although I am a cook by trade I have turned my hand to all sorts of work from carpentry to fruit picking and am always happy to muck in with whatever needs doing. Alongside my practical skills I am also a yoga instructor and am happy to lead classes for hosts and guests as part of my contribution.

We are both practitioners of yoga and meditation and intend to participate in the development of a sustainable community and live in harmony with nature while still embracing the wonders of science and technology.
I hold a masters degree in Theoretical Physics so am willing to share my passion for understanding the nature of the world in conversation with others. I have also traveled widely and have many stories to share from my life on the road.
Rosalind is a painter with a focus on the transcendental, mystical and magical. Besides her artistic and homesteading skills she also has experience working in a sensory deprivation spa, in which she specialized in creating a calm and open space for aiding in mind expanding experiences.
