Estoy viajando Peru por bici. Soy trabajador clinical social de Ciudad de Nueva York. Espero ayudar y encontrar buena gente. He trabado en workaway atrás y tuve un buena experiencia. Yo espero encontrar personas nuevas, intercambiar cultura, y intercambiar idioma.

I am traveling through Peru on bycicle. I am a clinical social worker from New York City. I hope to help out and meet great people. I have done workaway before in California, United States and had a great experience. I look forward to meeting new people, cultural exchange, and language exchange.

COOKING: I'm comfortable in the kitchen and love cooking with a group. Ask me about my vegan chili or my mango-chutney-fish-empanadas ; )

ATHLETICS: I've coached volleyball and basketball. I enjoy distance running, cycling, hiking, climbing, surfing, and most outdoor sports
EVENT PLANNING: I always enjoy planning fun things with family and friends, but I've also done this in a professional capacity working as an administrator for nonprofits
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Always approachable, open and respectful
SALES/MARKETING: 3+ years experience
GUITAR/DJEMBE: I enjoy playing the guitar and hand drums. I've lead monthly drum circles.
HOUSE PAINTING: I worked as a full-time house painter before and during undergraduate studies.
CARPENTRY: I'm experienced in most facets of building and home renovation, from framing, to roofing, drywall, siding, demo, etc...
GARDENING/LANDSCAPING: I've worked as a professional landscaper for multiple outfits, including my own. I have also worked as an excavator. I have experience gardening with NYC community gardens and food coops, as well as farms in Northern California.
SPANISH/ENGLISH LANGUAGE EXCHANGE: I lived in Guatemala for a summer as part of a research team that studied the impact of tourism on indigenous cultures. I've maintained some of the language and continue to practice. I also spent 4 months traveling Mexico by bicycle. I look forward to teaching English and learning Spanish.
HOUSE MAINTENANCE: I'm handy and I like to take on projects, whether it's replacing locks, painting, touch ups, minor plumbing and electrical, etc...
AUTO MECHANICS: I can perform basic maintenance, including oil changes, brake pad replacement, coolant flushes, and the like.

I'm an easygoing person who gets along with lots of different personalities. I enjoy the company of others and getting to know new people from different backgrounds/places. I love traveling and have visited parts of Central and South America, Southeast Asia, and Europe. I always like to have fun, but I'm serious about work and skilled in working as part of a team, but organized and detail oriented in completing jobs alone.
