We spent 2 years travelling around Europe doing various Workaways, and loved it so much - our next plan is South and Central America for 2025!
Beschreibung
We are a New Zealand couple (both named Jordan!) who have been together for 9 years. After completing our tertiary studies and gaining a few years of professional work experience, we decided to pack up and travel Europe for 2 years, using Workaway as a base. We had an incredible experience and all of the Workaways we did absolutely exceeded expectations. Connecting with new people and immersing ourselves in other cultures is what makes us tick, and we found that Workaway was the ideal way to achieve this.
We still have the travel bug so South and Central America are the next destinations on our list for 2025. We can't wait to do more Workaways, meet lots of new people, experience new cultures and create more unforgettable memories.
We enjoy DIY work and working outside, and love learning new skills and ways of doing things. We're both physically fit and able to pick up any work that's required! We have experience in gardening, construction, hospitality and service. We can also offer sewing skills, pilates/yoga instructing, woodworks and other crafts!

Between us, we speak intermediate-fluent Italian, intermediate French and have both just started learning Spanish. We would love the opportunity for any language practice, and have a particular interest in Spanish at the moment.

We have both worked in office jobs for the past 6 years, but in the weekends we have many hobbies that translate into useful skills for Workaway experiences.
Jordan 1 (male) spends most of his time fixing up old vehicles, or helping his father with DIY projects and work around the house. He is capable using powertools and enjoys using his hands for all types of work. When he has finished travelling he would like to start a building job, so any work like this would be welcome. Jordan has also grown up helping his parents in the garden and enjoys the likes of planting, landscaping and harvesting produce.
He has also been volunteering at the SPCA for over 2 years so has experience caring for animals, mainly dogs and puppies.
Jordan 2 (female) spends her spare time sewing and doing small woodworking projects. Professionally, she has marketing and tourism management knowledge and is always happy to help in these areas. She loves cooking, learning new recipes and working with new ingredients. A recent passion project of hers was starting a veggie garden.
We are both always keen to learn new things and happy to get stuck in and help wherever needed.

Jordan 1 (male) is interested in camping, hiking, animals, car maintenance, cooking, loves all board games and card games and chatting over a glass of wine.
Jordan 2 (female) enjoys being in nature, being active, socialising, and winding down the day with some good food, good chats, and a wine or two.
