We are currently in Vittel, living with a lovely family until the end of January. From then on, we're open to new experiences in France.

Beschreibung

We are a Danish couple living together in Copenhagen. Jonas is 29 years old and works as a psychologist for Falck. Anni is 27 years old and works with communication for a union. We have known each other for 8 years and lived together for 2 years... so far ;-)

We have traveled a LOT both individually and together. Our travels have included a lot of hiking, exploration of city culture and history, skiing, kanooing, biking, camping in a tent, road tripping... the common trait being that we don't like to spend our traveling time at a beach o a fancy hotel. We're simply not couch potatoey enough for that.

For the last two years we have been taking online French classes one time a week in order to prepare ourselves for (hopefully) one of the biggest experiences in our lives so far: Moving to France, Alsace for a year.

Within that year we hope to get a lot of cultural experiences, nature experiences and new work experiences. We have both educated ourselves to a future including a lot of desk work but we love doing maintenance work, cooking, taking care of animals, renovating and building various things.

Jonas has two years of full time work experience with craftsman work, paramedics and sledge dogs and Anni has been doing a lot of part time work involving foods, cleaning, educating children and taking care of pets.

Other than that our friends describe us as: Social, caring, empathetic and fun individuals who respect and understand other people's needs and boundaries. We'd rather ask than assume and we'd rather think before we talk. We are, after all, a psychologist and a journalist ;-)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

About Jonas: I work as a psychologist for Falck and have been doing that since I finished my education in 2022. Other than that I have quite a broad work resume whereof the most relevant job experience for work away are my two years in Greenland (from 2018 to 2020) for the Danish Sledge Patrol, Sirius.
In Greenland I did a lot of maintenance tasks including maintaining and building huts, sledges, furniture, tools, maintaining machinery, sewing, taking care of the sledge dogs, being responsible for first aid and general paramedic tasks and cooking for A LOT of people. I have taken a bunch of courses in various crafts and I am generally curious on mechanics, tools and various things that has to do with using my hands. That being said I am also quite good with people 😉

About Anni: I have a degree in Journalism and have been working full time with communication ever since finishing my degree in 2020. Whilst studying, I had a lot of part time jobs where I worked with videography, photography, writing, social media, web page development and has been doing that a lot for my current work ever since. With a total of 8 years of experience, I'd say that I'm quite qualified for whatever task that might involve promotion and visualization. Other than that I have worked five years at a bakery, three years as a private teacher, basically all of my live taking care of dogs.. and I have been cooking ever since I was 15. Jonas and whoever of my friends or family you might ask will acknowledge my excellent cooking skills ;-)

Our greatest ambition is to learn something new, meet new people and get to speak a lot of French, s'il vous plait.
