Beschreibung

Hi, my name is Johanna, I'm a 31 year old from Copenhagen, Denmark.

Until recently I've worked in the National Archives in Denmark, doing historical investigations of all sorts. I also worked as a yoga teacher on the side.

I wanted to go travel on my own for a long time, and as my work contract was ending this April, I decided now was the time. :)

I want to learn about everything from farming to gardening, forestry, permaculture, food produce, animal caretaking, beekeeping, sailing, construction, carpentry, artisanal handicraft and maybe other interesting things that you know something about.

I'd like to meet new people who are living in ways different to the classic office job life. Maybe get inspired to my next step. I miss being closer to nature in my daily life living in Copenhagen, and are considering moving to the countryside.

I enjoy spending time with people working together to produce something and learning new skills from each other along the way.

I'm walking the Camino in May and are looking for Work Aways from June in Portugal or Spain. Preferably extended stays in places with a community vibe, who are hosting more than one work awayer at the same time.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Generally I am helpful, proactive and have a good physique.

I know basic handiwork like plastering and painting walls, putting up lamps, shelves and so on. With some direction I can help with larger construction work. I have helped house building before. I would love to learn much more about building.

I know how to do garden work like digging up weeds, planting seeds, watering plants and so on. I enjoy gardening a lot and generally just all work outside.

I like cooking and make homemade meals almost everyday. I like baking bread and sometimes desserts. I like looking for edible things in nature, like mushroom or herbs in the forest. I'm curious about learning new recipes and cooking from different countries cuisines.

I'm a hatha yoga teacher and can teach yoga and meditation. I teach a beginners class in Copenhagen and have previously taught a senior yoga class.

I have some knowledge about sailing since I've been sailing with my family all my childhood. I hope to go back to sailing more again and learning all the skills.

I know some about knitting, sewing, crocheting and embroidery.
