Hey😊
I am Johanna and I am 22 years old and from Germany.

After I finished school in 2024 I´ve been travelling a lot which is my favorite thing to do. I travelled through many countries so far and I hope I get to see even more of this beautiful world.
I mainly travelled while working and volunteering in the countries that I stayed at and so far I've been really lucky to have met wonderful people, make unforgettable experiences and also it is a great opportunity to get to know the authentic life in a country better and not just what a tourist will experience.

The work that I have done abroad includs working as an Au Pair for a year, working with rescued animals, in a school, on a farm or just general help with cleaning in a homestay or hostel.
In Germany I worked in a restaurant for years and as a dance teacher. I also helped at many different charity projects.
I am open for everything and love a Challenge. Plus I am a quick learner to always make sure that I can help as much as possible.

While travelling I spend my free time mostly outside exploring, being social and active and always looking for a new adventure. But I also enjoy quiet time with a good book, music and being creative.

I am so excited already what my next journey will show and teach me!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Before I started travelling, I worked in a Cafe on the weekends and during the week in said Cafe but in the kitchen. So I know how to stay calm in stressful situations and I have a good organisation skill. I am also a very clean person and I enjoy kitchen work. I worked as a dance teacher for children and during my year as an Au-Pair I looked after a child with special needs. That thought me to be even more patient, empathetic and open to all sort of challenges. I also volunteered at a Wildlife Recue Center in Thailand where we prepared food, cleaned the enclosures and cared for over 900 rescued animals. We also harvested hundreds of banana trees every second day. So I definitly am not afraid of some hand on work and getting myself dirty. These skills where also really useful when I worked on a farm on the Phillipines. There we planted trees and vegetables, harvested our own food and build huts out of bamboo.
So my experiences include a lot of child-care and farmwork but also adjusting and being open to new situations, and learning skills fast.

Was noch ...

I love being social and outside but I also enjoy quiet moments. A cozy room and a good book is all I need to relax. I love watching movies and in my family we have a game night almost every week, so I would love to learn new games and new family traditions!
