Hello!

My name is Joe Dantoni and I am a naturopathic medical student from Maryland and studying at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland Oregon. I am currently taking a year of absence from school to focus on traveling, a small online business I cofounded and enjoying the world before I complete my program.

I love learning (about pretty much everything), nature, interacting with people, food, exercise and have been learning to love meditation.

I was in the IB program (international program) in highschool and have taken Spanish classes fo rmost of my life. That being said it was always the class I felt the worst at and least confident in. I would say that my Spanish level is beginner right now but I believe if I was in a Spanish speaking place, I would become an intermediate speaker relatively quickly. I am always down to learn new languages but it will definitely be out of my comfort zone

What do you need?

I very consider myself a Jack of all (most) trades, master of none (yet).

I have worked all sorts of jobs:
- Landscaping (my dad was a landscaper growing up but I worked 3 summer seasons for a professional company)
- Marine construction (about 6 months)
- Assistant manager at a retailer (1 year)
- ACSM certified personal trainer
- CPR certified
- Waiter/server (multiple summers)
- Co-founder of a small digital solutions provider, so I can help with social media or other tech-related jobs
- Bachelors in Exercise Science from Salisbury University, Maryland.
- Currently enrolled in the Naturopathic Medical Program (ND) at National University of Natural Medicine in Portland Oregon

I would say the only job I would be semi-reserved about is a cook because I have not done it in a work/professional environment before. However, I do know how to cook alkaline/vegetarian meals and know my eay around a kitchen.

I would consider myself a fast and eager learner so any type of manual or intellectual labor I am happy to help with.

I'm a cofounder of a small digital solutions provider so I have a flexible schedule but will need internet access unfortunately.

I forgot to mention that I love laughing and joking around light heartedly.

I am interested in getting out of my comfort zone and build community around the world.

My goal is to co-create positive experiences and I would like to change the negative perception people have about American travelers. I am coming to work/help when asked, learn new perspectives and exchange good energy with the people I meet/places I go.
