Hello! We are Joe (aged 31) and Lauren (aged 25), a couple from England currently living in New Zealand. We are a sociable and friendly couple who enjoy making the most that each day has to offer. Between us we have a lots of experience and skills in different things.

More about Joe...
I'm 31 years old and a physiotherapist. Before I became a physio I worked in lots of different jobs in the UK and overseas, including working with children, hospitality work, construction work and leadership roles. I have also been a workawayer at some different locations in Portugal, Australia and New Zealand.

My specialty is in exercise science and physiotherapy/physical therapy, this includes treating and preventing injuries, optimising physical and spiritual health, sports massage, working with athletes, acupuncture, educating people around health...I could go on an on.

Outside of work I am very passionate about surfing which I came to discover later in life. Besides this I have lots of other things I am interested in and plan to learn more about such as mycology, foraging, cooking and learning Spanish and growing food. I'm really keen to improve at yoga which I'm currently self teaching.

More about Lauren...
I'm 25 and a recent Biology graduate, currently working as a laboratory technician. I love animals and nature (particularly dogs) and am excited to explore this passion. My employment background is mainly in hospitality however I have also enjoyed gardening and cleaning jobs.

I share Joe's interests and am particularly keen to improve my Spanish and surfing skills. Additionally, I enjoy creative activities such as drawing and learning musical instruments; and value quiet time to read, do yoga and practice mindfulness.

My main workaway goal is to get back to nature whilst immersing myself in a variety of cultures and exploring different ways of living. I am very keen to learn some new skills - particularly in gardening, general property upkeep / building and sustainable living.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We both have an excellent level of written and spoken English and have 9 years of university experience in science between us.

Joe's skills:
- Undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise science, a Masters in physiotherapy and I am a qualified physiotherapist which brings lots of different skills in professionalism, leadership, organisation, people skills and responsibility.
- I can help you with fitness goals, teach some physiology and anatomy, help with musculoskeletal problems and injuries.
- Qualified in acupuncture and sports massage.
- Drivers license and over 10 years of driving experience.
- I have a history of working in labour roles mainly in construction.
- I have a history of working with children from a range of different countries at an English language and activity school, so I'm happy being around children.
- I'm good at cooking and cleaning, I love to cook.
- I'm good at writing, basic IT skills etc.
- Experienced and confident around dogs.

Lauren's skills:
- Undergraduate degree in Biology and experience working in a high responsibility laboratory role. Very organised and conscientious.
- Drivers license and 8 years of driving experience.
- Physically fit. Comfortable with manual labour and getting my hands dirty - I have worked in both gardening and cleaning roles.
- Very good customer service skills from 5 years of hospitality experience.
- I enjoy cooking healthy meals, particularly curries!
- Good with children and happy to provide english / biology tutoring if desired.
- Some knowledge of spiritual practices such as mindfulness and yoga.
- Huge love for animals and nature, very comfortable with handling dogs.
