Hello! My name is Joachim, I’m from France and I just finished my engineering studies in civil works.
I’m a curious and open-minded person who loves discovering new cultures, learning new skills and meeting people from different backgrounds.

I enjoy both physical and creative activities – I like working outside, helping with construction, gardening, farming, but I’m also happy to share ideas, cook, or help with daily tasks.

Traveling to Indonesia is a dream for me because I want to experience the local way of life, learn about traditions, and practice the language while being useful.
I’m reliable, motivated, and always happy to give a hand wherever needed.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I hold a TOEIC B2 certification, which allows me to communicate effectively in English and to teach the basics of the language, especially to children. I enjoy sharing knowledge in a simple and fun way.

I have already worked on a dairy farm in Ireland, where I took part in milking cows, feeding animals, and doing various manual tasks. As the grandson of farmers, I have always been close to the agricultural world, so I feel comfortable with outdoor work, gardening, and farm maintenance. I am particularly interested in sustainable farming and permaculture, and I’m eager to learn more in this field.
In addition, thanks to my civil engineering studies and internships in public works, I have experience operating construction machinery and I am used to working in an organized and safe way. I don’t mind physical tasks and I enjoy both teamwork and working independently.
I am motivated, curious, and ready to help in different areas, such as:

-teaching English to children,
-gardening and permaculture,
-helping on farms and caring for animals,
-construction, DIY, and general maintenance.

Always enthusiastic, I see Workaway as a great opportunity to learn, to share, and to discover Indonesian culture from the inside.

Was noch ...

I really enjoy traveling and discovering new places. I like doing sports, especially climbing, and I’m always up for outdoor adventures or activities with some adrenaline and excitement. I’m curious and love learning new things, whether it’s practical skills or cultural knowledge.

In my free time, I also enjoy playing board games and spending good moments with people around a game table.
