We’re Jess (29 y/o) and Steve (28) living in London (mostly) but traveling as much as possible! We love traveling and exploring new places, the sunshine, swimming (Jess), football (Steve), dogs, hiking, the English country side and food (both cooking and eating!!). We had corporate jobs in London, but decided to explore more of the world for the next year -Indonesia, New Zealand, Australia and the Philippines. We first met in Sydney whilst we were solo backpacking 6 years ago and are excited to continue our adventure!

Steve is very handy with has experience labouring on Sydney building sites and fruit / vegetable picking on remote farms.

Jess was a nanny / housekeeper / cleaner for 3 different families during my time in Australia.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

People skills are probably at the top of my list - I love learning from, listening to and getting to know people. I always try to see the positives in all situations, I am a problem-solver and very practical when I need to be! I’m a hard-worker and always strive to do my best - I think the corporate London-life gives you no option!!

Was noch ...

We both lived in Australia for a year, about 6 years ago now and fell in love with it!!

Jess was a live-in nanny in Sydney over that time, looking after various families over my time there including 2 sisters (6 months and 2), 2 brothers (2 and 5) and another two brothers (6&7).

Steve completed his farmwork on an avocado farm in Childers and latterly worked on construction sites in Sydney doing general labour work and all works of practical & ‘odd jobs’.

We are both very considerate, and would treat your home as we would ours.

We are really excited to again immerse ourselves into the Aussie culture and get to know a host-family whilst also lending a helping hand!
