Beschreibung

Growing with each other, trusting each other, enjoying life together, laughing together, overcoming challenges, giving each other space, getting to know the world, and making dreams come true... This is our attitude towards life. We are Tom & Jenny from Bavaria, Germany and try to realize all these things to live a beautiful life together.

Especially in 2024/2025 we want to do our part in this world as Workawayers and dive deeper into other countries, cultures and traditions and meet new people. We are loyal, creative, reliable and responsible people who like to create something with our hands and are not afraid to help out. We love animals, the (wild) nature and we also keep ourselves fit and healthy.

For around 20 years we worked as permanent employees in the media industry (Jenny) and IT industry (Tom) and now we gradually try to build our lifes a bit more outside the norm. We are now able to work both location-independently and mostly time-independently (Jenny: self-employed graphic designer, Tom: self-employed photographer), so that we can combine traveling and our work very well.

When we first met, we had both independently made the plan to travel the world alone for three months by plane and car in New Zealand and USA (Jenny) and Europe by Campervan (Tom). So, we traveled alone for the first time, but we changed our plans a bit and decided to spend one month together in a Campervan. So, we started our tour together and learned to love each other as well as the Vanlife.

After this trip we knew we wanted our own Campervan. So, we built our van with help from a carpenter and traveled with it to Sweden, Norway, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, Spain, France, Portugal, Greece, Austria and Italy.

Finally, we got married in 2022 and we wish to have an extraordinary life with all the ups and downs that life brings. We are very happy if we can meet and support you on Workaway. :)

Jenny is:

- trained in fitness and nutrition & Holistic Health Coaching
- relaxation coach
- enthusiastic about dancing (Salsa, Latin)
- already been on a solo trip to strengthen the mind
- determined to see the world

Tom is
- self-employed photographer
- talented in handcrafts (furniture, jewelry, renovation)
- very fond of animals & rescues every little insect
- a plant whisperer with a green thumb
- absolutely loyal and reliable
- determined to see the world
