Dear Host Family,

My name is Jenny, I am 25 years old, and I come from near Augsburg. I hold a bachelor's degree in Fitness Economics and have a deep passion for working with children and adolescents.

The decision to work in South Korea stems from my desire to experience a new culture while taking on a meaningful role. I am particularly fascinated by South Korea, as its culture, history, and way of life deeply inspire me. My goal is to live and work in South Korea from September to December 2025, before pursuing my master's degree in Child and Adolescent Therapy with a specialization in trauma and oncology.

Since 2018, I have been tutoring English and mathematics to students of various age groups, including children with unique challenges such as ADHD and dyslexia. These experiences have equipped me with patient and empathetic teaching methods and enhanced my ability to adapt to each child’s individual needs.

Additionally, I have trained a youth group in Jujutsu for six years. This role has taught me how valuable it is to guide young people in their development, nurture their strengths, and motivate them through physical activities.

For the past two years, I have also been learning Indonesian and am currently teaching myself Korean. These language skills reflect my openness and enthusiasm for foreign cultures, as well as my ability to embrace new challenges.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have been working with children for 8 years, helping them develop their skills in English, sports, and mathematics. I hold a bachelor's degree in Fitness Economics, which includes nutrition, business administration, and sports. This has enhanced my ability to address the specific needs of people from all age groups.

Alongside my dual studies, I have been working in the hospitality industry as a waitress and bartender, which I thoroughly enjoy. Prior to that, I worked in retail for two years before focusing on my studies. This experience taught me to work meticulously and stay calm in all situations.

I have gained experience in various professions, and I am confident in transferring these skills to many different areas.

In my free time, I enjoy playing games like Ligretto, Skip-Bo, or Scrabble, as they encourage strategic thinking and creativity.
I used to dance passionately in a show dance group but had to stop due to work commitments.So I’d love to try K-Dance as well.
I’ve also practiced judo and jujutsu. Since then, I’ve been going to the gym, doing EMS training, and practicing yoga daily.

In quiet moments, I like to read, particularly books about personal development and culture. I also love spending time in nature, whether it’s cycling or simply taking a leisurely walk. Baking is another great passion of mine – I especially enjoy baking cakes or cookies.

I’m always open to new experiences and activities that could expand my interests!
