Beschreibung

Hello there, I’m an active person who likes being outdoors, visiting new places, and making friends along the way. Hard working, reliable, honest, energetic, enterprising, tidy, conscientious and organised. I like keeping busy and don’t sit still! Happy to join in and get involved in all aspects. I am passionate about wildlife, nature conservation, and the environment, supporting green issues and encourage everyone to recycle and conserve our precious planet.
On my daily walks I pick up litter from the countryside or do beach cleanups. I like hiking, especially mountains, sailing, and travelling with others to new places. Also good with technology, iphones, android and computers.
I’ve lived in Surrey, England, for about 30 years, but also spent nearly 20 years living near Durban, South Africa. I fulfilled my dream in spring 2022 of walking to Everest Base Camp, Nepal.
In summerI volunteer for a local wildlife charity checking on heathland cattle, clearing scrub and conducting field surveys, while in winter, I try to travel to warmer places. I am a non smoker, no drugs, but I do enjoy the occasional beer at the end of a hard week!
