Beschreibung

We would like to experience new cultures via the local communities of destinations we get to visit. We are here to see what we can discover by volunteering and working with lovely humans close to nature. We are on the lookout for a project where we can channel our skills while embracing the peacefulness of a slower pace of life. Whether it's renovating an old house, reclaiming overgrown gardens and forests, or caring for animals, we are eager to roll up our sleeves and contribute. We are moving to a new country from home after the summer. We decided to quit our office jobs well before we settle down again so we can experience this way of traveling.

Janka
I studied economics in the field of tourism at university. During my time there and after graduation I worked in the hospitality industry, where I developed my communication skills, learned to problem solve in seconds, to work in a team and to navigate reservations in numerous systems. I also worked as a financial assistant and got to know the business world up close.
When I was completing my studies, I spent some time working on farms, picking berries, gardening, taking care of animals as well as doing some indoor chores, for example packing produce orders, cleaning, cooking and so on. I am happy to help and get hands on with anything around a house or looking after kids. I have little cousins who many times have ended up being minded by me and we had so much fun together.
I enjoy getting to know people and spend time in communities. I like to go on hikes, to be around animals (specially horses and bunnies 😊) to read, dance and just to do some fun arts and crafts projects.

Hi, my name is Mate. I'm an engineer by profession, and a hands-on problem-solver with a passion for breathing new life into everything from coffee grinders to electric buses. From an early age I always liked to help around the house, doing gardening, building, fixing, restoring everything and anything. During my school years I spent all my summers in different jobs, working in a warehouse, building wooden houses, or working as an automotive apprentice.
Currently I work as an automotive software developer, but I have experience in service and maintenance as well.
I like operating machines and I’m confident in using any tools.
In my free time I like building useful and not so useful electrical gadgets and restoring vintage mopeds.
