Came back home for Christmas. Looking for a seasonal job!

Beschreibung

Hi hi, we are Anna Maria and Jakub, a couple from Poland who fell in love with traveling and sharing stories with lovely people - so far we travelled across Europe, Iceland and Southeast Asia. We are both creative, easy-going - really, and open-minded. We are not afraid of taking on responsible tasks, and we always do our best to find practical solutions to any kind of obstacle. We enjoy working in a team and learning from others.

We value peace of mind and the people around us – it's the best way to discover new approaches to life, philosophies, and learn. We care about our surroundings and the environment, and we do our best to live sustainably. Back home, we have a big garden where most of our food comes from – we mainly eat vegetarian. With exceptions for example when we are traveling and discovering new cuisines, as sometimes it is impossible to try it out without meat, haha. And food is one of the best part of travelling :)


#Anna:
I am empathetic, sweet, and bring a charming energy everywhere I go - at least thats what people say. I love art, movies, and horses. I've been actively involved in a local horse stable for 14 years, and for the last 4, I've been teaching others how to ride and run wilderness exruises on horses. I am also very passionate about discovering other cultures and connecting with people, which I am really good at. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty, as I grew up mostly on my grandmother's farm, which taught me the importance of hard work and care. I am yoga enthusiast and I can't live without it. I am internested in spirituality or maybe bettter word would be mindfullness. I enjoy every moments, as I've been tought by my parents to find joy in smallest and simplest parts of life. From my education, I am a certified architectural renovator - where I learnd the importanced of Patience haha

##Jakub:
I have a strong analytical mind, even though I’m an artistic graduate haha
I enjoy learning and sharing experiences with others, but I am also comfortable alone. People often describe me as very talkative, but really, I prefer to listen . I'm currently a Project Management course, which I find very useful, not only in my professional life but also in my personal activities. I do like to spend my days active rather than sitting in front of computersr. I’m well-oriented when it comes to technology, which is a small personal interest of mine. From education, I’m an artistic photographer and videomaker, but I mailny enjoy more logical task, such as operation optymalization, improving workflows, and hands on jobs. Though if you need some pictures just let me know ;)
In my free time I enjoy reading - mainly popular science or philosophy, divining into different cultures and history and recently learning Chinese!
I'm working on openning a hospitality business within next year, so I would love to learn as much as I can from YOU, if you're a future host or language buddy.
I LOVE winter sports, especialy skiing and not so long ago I had a chance of trying out snowboarding and I cant wait to practice more. I like hiking, swimming and water related activites, I try my best to start everyday with a streaching session for better energy and blood flow of the day. I try to be self awere and appricite when people are honest and direct with me.

Nature is an important aspect of our lives as we find it calming, relaxing, and beneficial for our overall well-being. We enjoy being in a city from time to time, but the place where we want to live and work must be surrounded by nature or at least have easy access to it.

###Experience with Workaway:

We’ve joined a range of Workaway projects - building a wooden house in Belgium, pet-sitting a sweet senior dog in the Netherlands, and helping renovate an art gallery in Italy. In Asia, we’ve taught English in Vietnam, created murals in Malaysia, designed mosaics in Indonesia, served as bartenders on a cruise ship, and supported a sustainable travel company with digital marketing and design.

We have met a lot of incredible people along the way and stayed with many. Every place and every partnership brought new skills and friends. Honesty, clarity, and mutual respect remain our core values and we belive that every shared experience starts with openness and a willingness to listen and learn.
