Hi there workaway hosts and fellow workawayers! It's great to be here and I'm excited for this opportunity to meet so many interesting people from such a diversity of backgrounds. I've come to workaway because of a desire to explore the world in the most valuable way. This is by getting to know the people of the locations I travel to!

I'm currently on a gap year after finishing my last year of school. So as well as providing a cultural experience, I hope that living and working in different countries will provide the perfect circuit breaker I feel I need at this moment in time. Also, I recognise that the host-workawayer relationship ought to be a mutually beneficial one. And with this in mind, I aim to be a truly helpful workaway worker, as well as one who is generous in their sharing of their culture and inquisitive about the cultures of others.

Not wishing to be self aggrandising, I'll tentatively say that I'm an engaging person to be around who loves to have meaningful, interesting and fun conversations on a large variety of topics. I have a particular interest in history, politics, psychology and all things to do with people and societies more generally. I love a laugh as well though!

In terms of hobbies, I love cycling and have been doing road biking for as long as I can remember. I also really enjoy outdoor pursuits more generally and am always open to try new things to do with this.

I have experience of a variety of rolls. I've worked in a cafe, worked as a childminder, and fulfilled many woodwork and technological projects around the house and whilst maintaining and modifying my bicycle. Furthermore, I'm a fast learner and eager to try new things.
