Hi I’m Gozde from London, UK. I am looking to slow travel through India. I want to be able to share my skills in exchange for a place to call home while on the road. I have lots of volunteering experience leading art workshops and teaching English. I have also worked in politics leading political education classes and working in central parliament. I am an artist and you can check out my art on Instagram @artbygozde.

I'm a mature traveller so my personality is much more earthy and mellow. I like to hang out with good people and socialise but I also value my down time and need to recoup from stimulation occasionally. Respect is something that matters dearly to me and is essential to my ability to connect with anyone (both ways) 🙂

I am here for genuine volunteering/cultural exchange and I will not hesitate to leave, or at worst, report you if I get an uncomfortable vibe. I am an excellent communicator and have had a diverse career demonstrating this. I have worked on campaigning and marketing both in person and online so I can help with advertisement, website, newsletter, blogging. I also have extensive retail and hospitality experience to help keep accommodation fresh and clean. I am also a visual artist and can help with creative projects. A true Jack of all trades!

I love art and creativity. My go to party trick is giving people a Turkish coffee reading and unveiling their fortune. I like spirituality, politics, I’m interested in religion and also pop culture. I can talk about anything and everything and always have lots to share.
