I am only a beginner but I love surfing and hope to practice more while in Australia! I love to draw, paint, go to the beach, snorkel, explore new and beautiful places and try new things.

Beschreibung

Hello, here's a little bit about myself :). I've just graduated high school and have always dreamed of travelling to new places around the world and learning about different cultures. For a long times I've dreamed of travelling to Australia, so I've decided to take a gap year this year before pursuing my studies, to make this dream come true. I am quite international as I am born in England to an English father and a Dutch mother but I have lived almost my entire life in France, so I speak French too. I have a passion for practicing art and spend my free time drawing and painting whenever I can, this is an area of study I would like to pursue in the future. Furthermore, having grown up in the countryside with 4 chickens, 2 cats and a Labrador of our own, I have developed a love for nature and animals. I enjoy playing European football and have been playing for many years. I like to read books and, coming from quite a musical family, I love listening to all kinds of music and enjoy discovering new artists. Although at the moment I must say my top three artists would be Taylor Swift, Harry Styles and Ed Sheeran, so quite mainstreem. Overall however, I love to explore and I hope that by becoming a Workawayer I will have the chance to really experience the life and soul of living in Australia as well as enjoy all the natural beauty and wildlife that comes with it.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Having only just graduated high school I haven't had much experience in the workforce other than waitressing in a hotel restaurant, however I can confidently say that I am a fast learner and would be more than willing to learn any new skills should I need to. Having had a big garden my whole life with lots of pets to look after over the years, I know that I am good with animals and animal care and I'm not afraid of garden work or farm work. I am more than able to help around the house and clean, mop, dust, wash dishes, tidy and anything else that needs doing. I've had experience with baby sitting children of family friends which I always enjoy doing, having grown up in a family of 6, I am a people person and enjoy the company of others, including children. If you have children, having enjoyed school myself, I would be more than able and happy to help with homework (of any subject), or even teach them how to draw should they be interested. I'm quite good with a paint brush so if you have any art projects that need doing, I'm your person! Even if that is just painting walls or furniture. I have also watched and helped my family with DIY around the house over the years so though I wouldn't consider myself skilled at this, I am not a complete novice either. As I said however, I'm happy to learn and to do my best to pick up any new skill that you need should you be working on a particular project that you want help with.
