Hi! We are Ikjot and Varsha, an international student couple currently living in Berlin, Germany. We are enthusiastic, hardworking, and always eager to learn from new experiences.

One of the biggest reasons we joined Workaway is our love for meeting people from different cultures and learning about their traditions, customs, and way of life. We believe that the best way to understand a place is by living with locals, sharing experiences, and contributing wherever we can.

We are reliable, responsible, and not afraid of hard work. Whether it's gardening, farming, housekeeping, painting, cooking, childcare, pet care, or general maintenance, we are happy to help and always give our best. We enjoy learning new skills and are quick learners who adapt easily to new environments.

In our free time, we love exploring nature, hiking, visiting new places, and discovering local food and culture. We believe every Workaway experience is an opportunity to grow, make meaningful connections, and create lasting memories.

As a couple, we work well together, communicate openly, and support each other in every task. We are respectful of people's homes, value honesty and kindness, and always try to leave a positive impact wherever we stay.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We are a hardworking, reliable, and enthusiastic couple who enjoy learning new skills and helping wherever needed. While we may not be experts in every area, we are fast learners, adaptable, and always willing to take on new challenges with a positive attitude.

We have experience with housekeeping, cleaning, organizing, and keeping living spaces neat and tidy. We are comfortable helping with cooking, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other daily household tasks. We also enjoy working outdoors and would be happy to assist with gardening, basic farming, landscaping, or general maintenance.

As international students living in Berlin, we have learned to be independent, responsible, and organized. We manage our studies, household responsibilities, and daily life efficiently, which has strengthened our time management, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

We love animals and are happy to help with pet care, including feeding, walking, and giving them plenty of attention. We also enjoy spending time in nature and don't mind physical work when needed.

We speak English fluently and enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds. We are respectful, open-minded, and always eager to learn about local traditions, languages, and cultures.

Above all, we bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine enthusiasm to every opportunity. We believe that reliability, honesty, and kindness are just as important as experience, and we always strive to make a meaningful contribution to our hosts and their projects.

Was noch ...

Outside of work and studies, we enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring nature, hiking, and discovering new places. We love visiting local markets, trying traditional food, and learning about the history and culture of the places we visit.

We enjoy cooking together, listening to music, watching movies, and spending quality time with family and friends. We also like board games, card games, and activities that bring people together and create fun memories.

As international students, we are always excited to step outside our comfort zone, meet people from different backgrounds, and experience new ways of living. We believe every Workaway is an opportunity to learn, contribute, and build lasting friendships.

We are easygoing, respectful, non-smokers, and always happy to help wherever we are needed. We look forward to sharing experiences, working as a team, and becoming a positive part of your home and community.
