Hey there,
I am Doro, a student from the heart of Germany eager to experience as much of the world as possible. After graduation I did a gap year travelling through East Africa, Eastern Europe and visiting parts of Western Europe.
This year I started my studies in Heidelberg, but realised i will change city and subject again. I love getting to know new people, new cultures, and new ways of living.

My skills range from teaching languages and being creative with any material you can think of to dancing and modelling; so while I am very happy to learn about anything you can teach me, I am certain there's something I can give back... :)
Here's a little more about my personality:

I'm an easy-going early bird and quick learner. I love being creative - dancing (urban styles like Hip-Hop/ Dancehall), singing, painting/ designing/ handcrafting/ DIY-projects and cooking/ baking. Besides that I´m interested in science especially biology & chemistry and like being in nature, do sports outside, take care of plants and animals. Lastly I´m keen on learning new languages - next to German I am able to speak English, Russian, a little Spanish as well as Swahili.

I am open-minded, responsible, easy to handle, flexible and love to help wherever I can.
I am super excited to seize every opportunity to travel around the world, learn new languages, meet different people, experience nature and culture. I already made some experiences with the workaway-community and i am thrilled to make more memories that last a lifetime together with you.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Doro can:
- teach dancing (hip-hop, dancehall, jazz, whaacking/voguing); I danced for many years
- help with decoration or art projects; I have experience in handcraft, drawing/painting, crocheting, ceramic
- make pastry/ cook family meals
- feed and take care of animals; I grew up on a farm surrounded by nature & animals
- embrace you into night-long philosophical discussions... :))

- help children with homework, take care of children (I have 3 siblings & love playing with kids)
- do any kinds of chores in and around the house
- cook meals for the family (preferably vegetarian/vegan; happy to exchange recipes)
- help with gardening, harvesting, handicraft, construction tasks, and lift heavy stuff :)
- give lessons (science, maths, dance, languages in English and German - already experience with Tanzanian and Afghan students)

Naturally, I love travelling and exploring... :)
Furthermore I love doing sports (hiking, swimming, volleyball, table tennis, workouts), and would love to learn about surfing and/or parkour.
I like playing board games, watching movies, and reading. Moreover I am keen on anything you can teach me;)
