Beschreibung

Both: We are new to Workaway, we find it to be an interesting way of working, meeting new people, and traveling.

Jiří: I graduated from university in 2021 with a degree in mechanical engineering. Since then, I have worked for a company focused on energy efficiency and another company testing heat pumps, however, I'm still searching for the right job for me. I'm not afraid of physical labor as I have worked in such jobs before.

My passions include sports in general (jogging, hiking, working out, football, ultimate frisbee, ...), making fruit wine, history, and simple woodworking projects (nothing too big so far).

Dita: I will be graduating from university at the end of May 2023, and currently, I'm still a law student. I have a passion for everything related to ancient Rome and Greece, having studied for a semester in Rome.

I enjoy hiking in mountains, especially when there's a great view. I also like swimming, jogging, horse-riding (and horse-caring) and reading.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Jiří: I've worked a variety of side jobs, including warehouse work, boat rental services, and greeting guests at classical concerts. I've also worked in quality management. Additionally, I've worked full-time as a process/pipe engineer and have tried my hand at working as a heat pump testing technician.
Dita: I have experience with various minijobs, I spent four summers working in Germany in a horse stable, I also worked as a waitress in various restaurants. As a law student, I did internships at courthouses and a NGO focusing on legal help and during the semesters, I worked as a student assistant at my university.

Both of us are interested in the ancient history of the Mediterranean area. We also try to stay updated with current events in our country and around the world.
