Hello there!
Welcome to our couple’s account! We’re excited to share a little about ourselves and look forward to getting to know you.
Dan has been a teacher for the past seven years, specializing in Special Education for the last four, and a competitive soccer coach for ten years. Shelby has been a holistic health and life coach for the past four years, a yoga/movement teacher and nanny for three years, and a cash-flow management coach and shamanic practitioner (energy healing), both of which she will officially graduate from this spring 2025!
Wherever we’ve lived, we’ve also taken on pet and house-sitting, caring for dogs, cats, chickens, goats, and even llamas over the past ten years. We both love getting our hands in the dirt and gardening! Shelby worked on an organic farm in Idaho for 2-years and has recently earned a certificate in Regenerative and Organic Agriculture.
We’ve been together for 11 years, first meeting in college in North Washington back in 2013, where we lived for two years before joining the Peace Corps. From 2016 to 2018, we served together in the Philippines, and for the past seven years, we’ve called North Idaho home. Now, we’re preparing for our next big adventure—traveling through Latin America for about eight months, starting in November 2025.
We’re passionate about travel, the outdoors, backpacking, camping, community connection, yoga, gardening/farming, cooking, saunas + cold plunges, fútbol, animals, and overall health & well-being. We’re also eager to immerse ourselves in Spanish and explore new cultures along the way.
