About Me 🌸

Hi! I'm Haruka, a 21-year-old university student from Japan 🇯🇵
I’m studying English education and working at a luxury ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) in Hakone. There, I serve guests in both Japanese and English, which has helped me improve my communication skills and confidence 💬✨
People often say I’m cheerful, open-minded, and easy to talk to! I love making new friends and learning about different cultures 🌏💖 I’m always happy to help with anything — cleaning, cooking, gardening, or just having a nice chat over coffee ☕️
I’m really interested in Danish culture, especially how people think about work-life balance and happiness. I’d love to experience the local lifestyle, meet people from all over the world, and share a bit of Japanese culture too 🇩🇰🤝🇯🇵

I’ve been working at a luxury ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) in Hakone, where I help in the restaurant and serve both Japanese and international guests. Through this job, I’ve learned how to communicate kindly, pay attention to details, and work as part of a team 🌸
I’m happy to help with anything such as:
Cleaning and organizing 🧹
Cooking and preparing meals 🍳
Gardening or light farm work 🌿
Taking care of guests or children 👶
Sharing Japanese culture, food, or language 🇯🇵✨
I also have a 6-year-old younger brother, so I’m used to spending time with small children and helping them with daily activities 💕 I really enjoy playing, talking, and learning with kids!
I’m not afraid to try new things and always do my best with a smile 😊
I love learning new skills and working with people from different backgrounds. I believe every task — even small ones — can be meaningful when done with care and kindness
