Ich bin gerade

Beschreibung

Hi, my names Greta! I'm a 20 year old from Portland OR, in search of connections of all sorts!
I'm a part time student but still figuring out where it will lead me. As of right now I'm much more excited about traveling, meeting awesome people, and expanding my mind as far as it can go with new experiences, challenges, and meaningful work.

I love spending time outdoors on my bike or on foot. An ideal weekend is spent underneath trees eating a banana and listening to the birds. So far I can identify the call of a house finch, hummingbird, blue jay, and crow. That's it! Hoping to grow my bird knowledge heehee. Other things I love are tasty wholemade meals, competitive card games, my silly dog, and listening to/playing music.

I think we humans have so much to learn from each other and our planet, especially in such a chaotic point in time. I'm doing my best to switch my brain from 'bucket list that needs checking off' to 'empty notebook that's ready for whatever comes my way.' Volunteering has been so great because there's just no reason to doomscroll when there's hands on work to be done, lots to learn, and a built in community of people to get to know C:

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I've got lots of volunteering experience mostly in agriculture, farming, restoration, and general up keep like cleaning and meal prep. I've helped build cabinets, planted trees, collected jungle seeds, used a machete, carried heavy bags of sand for path making, and harvested fruits + veggies. Anything not mentioned I am ready to learn enthusiastically!
