Hello! It’s so great to meet you!

I’m Jennifer, a passionate, kind-hearted, and dedicated volunteer who loves giving back and making a difference. I bring enthusiasm, flexibility, and a can-do attitude to every project I take on. Whether working independently or as part of a team, I thrive in collaborative, hands-on environments.

As a lifelong entrepreneur and proud mom of a wonderful 25-year-old daughter, I have spent years cultivating a diverse set of skills. I have a deep love for nature, gardening, animals, and wellness. I’m also highly experienced in social media, marketing, and website development—if you need help building an online presence, I’d love to assist! In addition, I’m an excellent cook and can share my knowledge of healthy cooking, yoga, stretching, and overall wellness. Staying active and organized is second nature to me, and I enjoy keeping spaces clean, efficient, and welcoming.

My Volunteer Experience
I’ve had the privilege of participating in several Workaway experiences across the globe, contributing to a variety of meaningful projects:

2016 (Jamaica) – Worked on an eco-farm with 11 volunteers, helping with animal care, gardening, construction, and land blessings. Also taught yoga, cooked, and provided haircuts.
2017 (Belize) – Assisted a family in homesteading 60 acres of jungle, including fence building, cooking, animal care, painting, and supporting a natural bug spray business.
2018 (Aruba) – Created a website, video, and social media content to help a couple grow their vacation rental business. www.aruba-apartments-palmgarden.com
2019 (Carriacou, Grenada) – Painted the exterior of a home and helped develop a wellness business plan.
2022 (Costa Rica) – Contributed to a yoga retreat center with power washing, gardening, painting, and coaching the owner on selling her retreat space.
2023 (Carriacou, Grenada) – Painted, power-washed, and helped develop a website and Airbnb listing for a beach house. Veranda-Beach-House.com
2024 (Antigua) – Cared for animals at a donkey rescue center, including feeding, cleaning, and walking them.
Each of these experiences has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m always eager to jump into new projects where I can be of service. If you think my skills and energy could help your project, I’d love to connect and learn more!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am in excellent shape, strong and a hard worker.

I have a lot of experience in these areas:
-Last place I was at, I designed the whole website for them, including taking pictures and content: www.aruba-apartments-palmgarden.com
-Landscaping, constructed many flower and veggie gardens in Canada and work on a small commercial farm picking tomatoes.
-Eco awareness, been a practicing environmentalist for 27 years.
-Animal care, have always had and love love animals (cats, dogs, chickens, goats, sheep)
-Computer work, I am great at social media, Word, Excel, and other programs.
-Service oriented, been in the service industry all my life, also worked at many local farmer markets.
-Minor maintenance like painting or tiling, done many many house renovations.
-Driving, on both sides in the car, standard or manual.
-Avid Hiker. Hiked Canada Rockies, Alps, USA...probably over 400 hikes and mountaineering.
-Yoga, for 25 years/ meditation and shamanism.
-Kayaking, used to be a sea kayak guide.
-Cooking, I cooked for a tree planing crew of 30 people.
-Marketing, I'm an entrepreneur so know a lot about marketing and business.
-Hairdressing (15yrs).
-Teaching workshops and business start ups.
