Hey everyone! I’m Goda, 24, currently working in hospitality at a 4-star hotel in Northern Ireland :)

I was born in Lithuania and spent the first 12 years of my life there before moving to the UK in 2013. Growing up, I was always adventurous and loved being outdoors – a quality that’s still very much a part of me today.

I graduated with a degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2023, and since then I’ve worked as a bar supervisor and a temporary research assistant at a hospital. Along the way, I’ve picked up strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills, as well as some IT know-how (Microsoft, Excel, etc.), which I’d be happy to help with if needed.

I really enjoy being outdoors, hiking, exploring new places, and trying my hand at creative or practical projects. I’m open to learning new skills, helping with animals, gardening, or whatever tasks are needed — I love variety and don’t mind rolling up my sleeves.

After doing a fair bit of travelling this past year, I’m excited to dive deeper – to experience new cultures, meet new people, and contribute in meaningful ways. That’s what drew me to Workaway, and I can’t wait to see where the journey takes me!

Bilingual – Fluent in Lithuanian and English, currently learning Spanish. Happy to share my language skills or learn new ones along the way.

Hospitality & Customer Service – Experience in a 4-star hotel and as a bar supervisor; confident in welcoming guests, making connections, staying organised, and creating a friendly atmosphere.

Teamwork & Communication – Strong ability to collaborate, adapt to new environments, and help keep tasks running smoothly.

Organisation & Responsibility – Background in research and hospitality taught me to be detail-oriented, reliable, and a fast learner.

IT Skills – Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Excel, and general computer tasks; happy to help with admin or tech support.
