Hi!
I was born in Italy in 1991 and i studied literature until i actually started traveling. since then i've never really wanted to stop. over the years i have worked or volunteered at many hostels, farms, retreats and communities, sometime on my own, sometime using this or other platforms (mostly Helpx, i am relatively new to Workaway specifically) .
I never smoke, i barely drink (occasionally, socially) and i don't really find drugs appealing. i try to be considerate, tidy and responsible.
I have many passions that i love to share, including games (especially role-playing games), massages, cooking and pyrography.
I am currently (2025) in Australia hoping to find opportunities in hostels or individual homes

I am new to the workaway platform but i've been volunteering frequently over the last 6-8 years. I have plenty of experience in hospitality (cleaning, reception and other roles) via volunteering in hostels or working at resorts.
i can organize and cook homely meals for 20+ people (mostly vegetarian/vegan) and in 2013 i was the main chef at Rising Soul Retreat in Bulgaria for the whole season.
I have learned some good massage skills and i have over a decade of experience as a game master, which can translate into organizing game nights, game groups and nerdy activities.
i also have some experience with gardening, woodworking and teaching (Italian, English).
Soft skills - wise, i am good at working alone or in a group, very flexible regarding the environment, i enjoy quiet times but i am good at social events and interactions: i can take the lead as well as mediate when needed.

It was a lovely, very quiet stay.
The food arrangement was such that I would get dinner with the different families, on rotation, and have some ingredients/supplies to make my other meals.
