Beschreibung

Hello! My name is Georg, I'm 27 years old, from the city of Hanover, Germany. Right now, I got a lot of time on my hands until the start of my masters degree in landscape architecture in autumn. I want to use that time as good as possible by traveling the world while working for a good cause and helping people out all over! As I really got to know during my last work & travels, for me, the cultural enrichment is far greater when volunteering and working with and for the locals rather than just by pure sightseeing on my own. It allows me to have a way more intense experience and to immerse myself a lot more in the local culture. Also, when volunteering, I get the chance to be a part of a team that can become family, something I really admire! I'm ready to connect with hosts who I can help with in all kinds of ways!

I would describe myself as a a open and communicative person who gets along with pretty much everybody :) I love getting to know new people and I'm happy about every new friendship forming!

From May to End of July '25 I worked in a hostel on Hawaii. There, I gained experience in working at the reception, checking in/ checking out guests and socializing with guests/ guest assistance as well as general housekeeping tasks like cleaning or changing the bed linen. Also, I gained experience in working with the cloudbeds booking system. From beginning of December to end of February '26 I worked at the reception in two hostels in Rio de Janeiro. I’m currently working as a bartender in a hostel in Colombia, where I also host activities.

Furthermore, I got some knowledge about open space planning, landscape architecture, environmental planning, nature conservation, plant use, planning communication and regional / state planning.

Regarding my free time activites, I have knowledge in songwriting / producing music and photography :)
