Hello everybody, I am looking forward getting in contact with you!
My name is Franziska, I am from Basel, Switzerland, 53 years old, mother of Sophia,
a wonderful young lady who just turned 18.
I am a musician and violin teacher. I'm playing chamber music and in orchestras
and teaching kids from 3 to 20 to play the violin and the joy of music making, as well as adults and ensembles.
I am a positive thinking, active and open minded person, I love to communicate and am passionate about learning foreign languages and get to know other countries, cultures and traditions.
I have been traveling quite a lot as a musician and for holidays but I only recently learned about such a fantastic way of working/traveling and such a great community like the Workawayers. Thanks to my daughter I am discovering it now and I am really
excited about it! New horizons are opening for me!
My interests are various: I am very interested in holistic medicine and healthcare.
Recently I discovered the Wim Hof Method (maybe you heard about the Iceman..?)
a fantastic way to improve health and get more energy ! I am so fascinated about it that I already started the training to become a Wim Hof instructor.
Other interests are philosophy, history, psychology, spirituality and meditation.
And I would love to learn some Yoga.
I love nature and outside activities like hiking, swimming and cycling, skiing and figure skating.
As I am a passionate gardener since 15 years and growing my own vegetables
I would love to learn more about permaculture!
Of course I like animals, especially horses and dogs, I'm a rider and have experience with horse care.
In general I like a simple way of life and don't need much comfort or luxury.
And I am looking forward to get to know wonderful families and communities who respect Mother Earth, care about our planet and have the vision to make it a more peaceful and harmonious place for all beings!

I am open minded, empathic and patient in nearly every situation ;-))
Very curious in experiencing and learning new things and responsible and flexible.
I like team work and social contacts as well as having time for myself and working independently.
I've a lot of experience with children (25 years in profession) and as a mother, I love children and I think a natural and creative education is very important in our more and more digital world...Quite a lot of experience in gardening and household, I did some renovating as well.
I love cooking and am curious about sharing and learning new recipes from all over the world!
And of course I can teach you some languages and a lot of music!
