Hello, we are Francesco and Ruben, two 21-year-old students from Florence. The idea of embarking on this type of experience comes from the desire to broaden our horizons in environments that fall outside our comfort zone, actively challenging ourselves. The main goal is to gain new experiences and connect with cultures different from our own, while helping, in our small way, those in need. Both of us are university students in Florence (Francesco studying biomedical engineering and Ruben studying political science), and we work as waiters in two different restaurants. In addiction, as sides of our main commitments, Francesco is a volunteer for the CRI( Croce Rossa Italiana, Italian Red Cross) and Ruben works also for a touristic agency in Florence. We are passionate about sports (volleyball and basketball), love nature and outdoors activities. In short, we are two guys who like—and have always liked—staying busy and getting involved. We hope that, through this experience, our cultural baggage, and especially our life experiences, will further expand by offering our help to people living in environments and lives completely different from our own.

Hola, somos Francesco y Ruben, dos estudiantes de 21 años de Florencia. La idea de emprender este tipo de experiencias proviene del deseo de ampliar nuestros horizontes en entornos que no forman parte de nuestra zona de confort, poniéndonos a prueba activamente. El objetivo principal es hacer nuevas experiencias y entrar en contacto con culturas diferentes a la nuestra, ayudando, en nuestra pequeña manera, a los que lo necesitan. Ambos estamos comprometidos con estudios universitarios en Florencia (Francesco en ingeniería biomédica y Ruben en ciencias políticas) y trabajamos como camareros en dos restaurantes diferentes.Además, como parte de nuestros compromisos principales, Francesco es voluntario para la CRI (Cruz Roja Italiana) y Rubén también trabaja para una agencia turística en Florencia. Nos apasiona el deporte (vóley y baloncesto) nos encanta la naturaleza y las actividades al aire libre. En resumen, somos dos chicos a los que nos gusta—y siempre nos ha gustado—mantenernos ocupados y esforzarnos. Esperamos que, con esta experiencia, nuestra bagaje cultural, pero sobre todo nuestras experiencias de vida, se amplíen aún más, brindando nuestra ayuda a personas que viven en entornos y vidas completamente diferentes a las nuestras.

we know just a little of Spanish, we are willing to better learn the language, which is also one of the purposes of our trip. We are also fluent in English and Italian (our mother language) so we can teach them.

we are two kind guys who are very social and adaptable to every kind of situation and expecially to every kind of people. Working in Florence, wich is one of the most touristic cities in italy, allowes us to talk to people from every part of the world everyday, so we are very familiar with english and our main skill is to be capable of stay in social enviroments even in stressfull situations and always in contact with people. We love outdoors, expecially when we're sourrounded by nature, so we don't ahe any problem to stay and work in those type of places.
