"We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." - Gandhi
Hello! I'm Brennan (friends call me Finn), a 29-year-old tin whistle player traveling the world. I've lived in Alaska, Costa Rica, Honduras, Thailand, and Norway. I love meeting people and listening to their stories and life experiences.
Since 2018, I have been volunteering periodically at an elephant rehabilitation center in Thailand. When I am not working in Thailand, I enjoy travelling the world volunteering in countries I visit to help the local people and gain a better understanding of their culture. In 2020, I returned to Thailand to work for a charity that helps domesticated elephants who were greatly affected by the pandemic. My Job was social media, photography, videography, fundraising and assisting veterinarians who were providing medical aid to hundreds of elephants in the Southern Thailand provinces. The charity is called Southern Thailand Elephant Foundation (STEF).
I love reading, all things outdoors, and playing the tin whistle. I also love animals and music. When people ask what I do for a living, I like to say I'm a freelancer, I just get paid in experience. To earn a little travel money, I have a YouTube channel where I teach people how to play fun tunes on the small instrument called a tin whistle. It's not much, but if I can teach someone how to play a song that makes them happy, then it's enough for me.

I also like to play my tin whistle in public and hopefully earn some coins for my next one-way ticket.
I'm clean, easygoing, and willing to get my hands dirty. And If you would like to learn how to play the tin whistle, I have a spare and can teach you the basics :)
I can't wait to meet you and learn about your world!
Some more of my favorite quotes:
"Nothing is permanent in this wicked world - not even our troubles." - Charlie Chaplin
"When you enjoy your own company, you will never feel lonely." - Tom Hardy
"Sucking at something is the first step to becoming sorta good at something." - Jake: Adventure Time
"Compare yourself to who you were yesterday, not to who someone else is today." - Jordan Peterson
"Don't forget to smile in any situation. As long as you are alive, there will be better things later, and there will be many." - Eiichiro OdaInteressengebiete

I love working odd jobs. To name a few: I was a tour guide in Alaska, did landscaping in the Costa Rican rainforest, climbed and maintained cellular towers (tallest I climbed was about 1000 feet), helped care for 10 elephants at a rehabilitation center in the Thai jungle, and repelled off cliffs to set dynamite markers for the railway which passes through the Canadian Rockies.
Fun fact about me: I had the great fortune of being a contestant on a reality T.V. show in Norway. Here's a small clip so you know I'm real :)

I'm the guy who asks if you're supposed to eat the fish eyeball. Big mistake haha, made for good television though. Spoiler alert, I'm the only one who was able to swallow it hahaEtwas mehr Information
