We are currently not traveling together.
Anna -- Hello! I'm a 26-year-old traveling writer and English teacher trying to meet new people and see some new countryside.
I have lived in Minnesota, Norway, Spain, Mexico, France, Italy, Thailand and spent 7 months backpacking and traveling with Workaway across Europe. Now, I'm staying in Bangkok while I work as a kindergarten teacher, and I will resume backpacking and traveling South East Asia in March.
I am environmentally-minded and passionate about nature. In college I worked in the Sustainability Office and specialized in projects surrounding food, including minimizing food waste and encouraging local food. I love gardening and working in the dirt with my hands. I have some experience with farm work (fixing fences, tending animals) and would love to learn more about general building projects and handy work (building and repairs).
I have done some traveling on my own, I studied in Norway, worked as an au pair in Spain and Mexico, improved my French and Italian language skills through workaway, and now I'm looking forward to seeing Asia through work exchange. I love to share stories and experiences with new friends :)
Frank here -- I am retired and looking to see the US and the world through local experiences. My wife is still a teacher and my 2 daughters are adults so I have some free time. My education is communications and marketing, but I also ran a non-profit organization and have experience in teaching children. I am hard-working, friendly and easy-going. I will adapt to any situation and make sure that everyone involved enjoys my stay.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
Anna: I'm great at weeding and gardening and can plant your trees for you. I love any work that's outside in the sun. I like being with animals, dogs and cats and goats and cows and everything else! I also have experience as a baby-sitter and live-in au pair with kids age 1 to 10. I have basic woodworking experience and would be happy to help with any building projects. I like to write and take photos, I can help with promoting your project if you like!
Frank Haynes: I have a wide variety of abilities, experience and expertise including: marketing, communications, grant writing, event planning, leadership, musical (singing and ukulele), driving, organizing, Willing to perform manual labor and assist on whatever projects come up.

Was noch ...
Frank -- I enjoy learning about regional and national cultures. I think the best way to achieve this is by living in a culture and not from a hotel room. I play the ukulele (novice, but not bad), enjoy games, hiking, seeing the area I am visiting. I have spent extended time in Norway and have also visited most countries in Europe (as a tourist). I am a retired marketing/communications specialist currently working as a substitute teacher when the need arises in our local schools.
Anna -- I love animals! If you've got pets or farm animals, that's a plus for me. I also enjoy sharing music with friends, I like to sing and play a little bit of the ukulele.
