Beschreibung

Ciao! Siamo Federica e Federico, due ragazzi italiani di 28 e 25 anni. Viviamo a Palermo, la nostra città natale, situata in Sicilia, nel sud Italia, e ci descriviamo come esploratori curiosi e amanti della natura! La nostra storia è iniziata nel 2019, quando ci siamo conosciuti all'università, grazie ad alcuni amici in comune. Fin da subito, abbiamo sentito un profondo legame tra noi, così abbiamo iniziato a trascorrere del tempo insieme, condividendo i nostri hobby e parlando dei nostri sogni di viaggio, finché non ci siamo resi conto che il tempo volava e che ci stavamo avvicinando ogni giorno di più! Così, abbiamo iniziato a viaggiare insieme in alcune delle splendide città del nostro Paese, come Napoli, Torino, Milano, Firenze, Pisa e Aosta. Abbiamo anche visitato Monginevro, Budapest e le campagne circostanti di entrambe le città. Quando non siamo all'estero, trascorriamo i fine settimana avventurandoci nelle montagne della nostra campagna locale per fare trekking e campeggiare con i nostri amici. Abbiamo fatto il nostro primo workaway a Cihamerang, un villaggio rurale situato nella Giava Occidentale, dove abbiamo potuto sperimentare la vita che sognavamo da tanto tempo. Abbiamo raccolto, pulito le case degli ospiti, fatto il compost, trascorso del tempo con persone meravigliose, camminato nella giungla per raggiungere luoghi meravigliosi e spirituali🏞️ E poi ci siamo uniti a questa comunità perché vorremmo ampliare i nostri orizzonti e arricchire ulteriormente le nostre esperienze attraverso avventure che ci permettano di scoprire profondamente nuove culture e dove possiamo anche sentire di dare un contributo con il volontariato!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We are two resourceful individuals with top problem-solving skills, and if one of us doesn't know how to do something, the other usually does. We both possess excellent manual skills and a creative spirit.

We also have experience in the field of education, as we both completed a year of universal civil service with children: Federico in an elementary school where he supported teachers, and Federica in a summer camp and after-school play centre where she was a children's entertainer and after-school teacher.

In terms of personal hobbies:
(Federica) I love practicing holistic disciplines like Pilates and yoga. I also relax by doing puzzles, playing with Legos, reading romances or thrillers, doing Das clay crafting, caring for my plants, and above all, caring for our kitten, Diane!
(Federico) I love narrative, literature, movies, trekking, nature, learning about different cultures, playing and listening to music and live in the most genuine and simple way, all things that, i think, can reconnect us to what life is really about🏞️


In terms of studies:
(Federica) I have a degree in Political Science and International Relations, with a thesis in Private Law on Olympic children's rights. At the moment, I'm studying law.
(Federico) And I'm pursuing a degree in Legal Science with a thesis in Criminal Sociology on racism and the phenomenon of the KKK, and its similarities with today's society.

Was noch ...

A few other things about us: We enjoy playing board games like Perudo, Risk, Scrabble, or Citadels. Federico knows how to play the piano (a bit) and the guitar. We're both creative and hands-on; we can paint and build things. We also cook traditional Italian dishes very well, but we're also happy to try recipes from other parts of the world.

  Federica is mildly asthmatic and allergic to dust. In very dusty and humid places, she starts to sneeze and her respiratory passages get irritated.
