Howdy, I’m a 27 year old Entomologist from California, USA and I'm backpacking through SE Asia in search of wholesome, authentic people to adventure the new places with! I am most passionate about flipping rocks to find bugs, exploring street markets and camping somewhere the stars are brightest at night. I’m backpacking for several years for the sake of personal growth, making meaningful connections around the world and just being outside my comfort zone.

I started my journey in Monteverde, Costa Rica where I worked as a butterfly tour guide for several months educating guests on the importance of insects in our ecosystem. I loved that so much I wish to find similar locations where I can settle for a month or so, connect with the locals/land/culture, and truly contribute to efforts made by local communities in preserving nature through grassroots efforts.
