Beschreibung

Hi, I'm Esmée! :) I live in Brussels (Belgium) and I'm currently finishing my final year of high school. I'm really
looking forward to graduating because I feel it's time for something new. I'm leave to Colombia mid-September 2025, right after her 18th birthday, and will stay there until Feb 2026 I've always loved traveling, although I haven't gone very far yet. I've visited Germany, Hungary, Sweden, Thailand, Italy, France, the Netherlands, and a few other countries. I also love exploring new cultures and countries. I'm very creative, responsible, and open to learning new things. I consider myself mature and independent, but I also enjoy being there for others. In my free time, I help children with their homework, meet up with friends and family, take photos, play basketball, babysit my neighbors' kids, spend time with my cat, and do many other
activities. I have experience with housekeeping, animals (depending on the type ;)), and children, and I have
participated in social projects in Brussels. After my Workaway experience, I plan to study at a university. I still need to figure out what I want to do and what truly interests me in life. That's why I'm taking this
opportunity to get to know myself while also discovering the world! :)

Yes, I’m definitely interested in both learning and teaching languages. After my Workaway experience, I plan to start university, and I’d love to keep the option open to study in another language in the future. I’m fluent in both English and French, and I use them daily alongside my native Dutch. While I’m comfortable with these languages, I’m always looking for ways to improve and deepen my proficiency in both. Additionally, I’m very interested in learning Spanish and Portuguese, as I find both languages fascinating and would love to have the opportunity to practice them as well.
