Hey there! My name's Eskil and I'm a 22-year old from Sweden! From college studies and military service, to being a guinea pig in a medical trial — my road after high school hasn't exactly been a straight line. But on my way to figuring out what I want in life, I've realized that few things are as fun and rewarding as leaving your comfort zone, meeting new people and learning new skills!
So now I'm doing just that: traveling and trying to learn as much as possible about people, cultures, farming and more! What I lack in experience I make up in a great enthusiasm and willingness to work! And while I might not have grown up on a farm, I grew up on the Swedish countryside with chickens and a big garden. We even cared for a dozen sheep for a couple of summers!
When I'm not traveling I usually spend my time with family and friends, reading a good book or trying to learn a new instrument. Something else I enjoy is to be able to challenge my own ideas and beliefs. I like learning about what other people value in life and to get to hear their thoughts on the world! Everyone has a story just waiting to be told!
Though I'm new to workaway, I've had one experience working on a farm through WWOOF which was something I absolutely loved! Thank you for reading, and I hope to hear from you soon!
