Hi there! We are Erik & Narell 🛠️🎨🌊
We are a positive, energetic, and hard-working couple embarking on a new adventure together! We are traveling with a Working Holiday Visa, and our plan is to experience everything as a team. We see Workaway as the perfect way to connect with local communities, share our practical skills, and help hosts with real work while we integrate into the culture.

About Erik: I am a hands-on, problem-solving industrial mechanic and technician. I love nature, outdoor adventures, and fixing complex things. If it has a motor, wires, or moving parts, I can fix it! I am also a certified scuba diving instructor, a boat skipper, and a licensed drone pilot.

About Narell: I'm a creative Tourism graduate and Visual Artist who loves nature and deep human connections. I see the world with a lot of sensitivity and run my own art project (@narelljg). After an amazing Working Holiday year in Australia, I’m excited to volunteer, share cultures, and help out with my creative, hospitality, and hands-on skills!

As a team, we combine technical problem-solving with hospitality and artistic creativity. We are clean, responsible, and ready to face any challenge together!

🛠️ What we can bring to your project (Our Skills)
Here is a quick summary of what we can offer as a team:

Maintenance, Repairs & DIY: (Erik) I can help maintain vehicles, fix tools, work on engines, or assist with general DIY and heavy physical work around your house, hostel, or farm.

Art, Painting & Creativity: (Narell) If your place needs a creative touch, a beautiful mural, hand-painted signs, interior decoration, or any artistic project, I would love to bring it to life!

Hospitality & Customer Service: (Narell) With my background in tourism, I can help managing guests, organizing spaces, reception work, or helping with the logistics of any hospitality or eco-tourism project.

Outdoor, Logistics & Media: We both love the outdoors. With Erik's experience as a skipper and scuba dive instructor, we can ensure safe outdoor work and even take amazing aerial footage/photos of your property.

Languages & Teaching: We are native Spanish speakers and we would love to teach or practice Spanish with you or your family! Erik has an A2 English level and Narell has a B2 English level and is currently learning Norwegian from scratch. We are incredibly eager to communicate, practice, and learn every day!

What we offer / Our Skills 🛠️🎨✈️
Hi! We are Erik and Narell, a hands-on and creative couple traveling together with a Working Holiday Visa. We love working as a team and combining our different skills to help our hosts!

Erik’s Background: I’m an industrial mechanic and technician. My background is completely practical: I studied technical maintenance and have years of experience diagnosing and fixing complex machinery, engines, and general DIY projects. I’m also a certified scuba diving instructor, boat skipper, and drone pilot, so safety and responsibility are second nature to me.

Narell’s Background: I have a Degree in Tourism and previous experience living in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa. I am also an artist (you can see my work on Instagram @NARELLJG). I excel at hospitality, guest management, organization, and bringing creative ideas to life.

What we offer as a team:

Repairs & DIY: Mechanical, electrical, and general handy work around the house, hostel, or farm (Erik).

Art & Creativity: Painting murals, decoration, signs, or any creative project to make your place look beautiful (Narell).

Hospitality & Logistics: Guest service, reception, organization, and social media/aerial photography with our drone.

Languages: We are native Spanish speakers ready to teach you or your family. For English, Narell has a fluent B2 level (great for smooth communication) and Erik is actively practicing his A2 level.

We are reliable, tidy, and bring tons of positive energy. We are always ready to help with anything—from heavy work or guest management to walking the dog—while learning new skills together!

Was noch ...

We have our dates ready! We are arriving in Oslo on June 10th, with our documentation and Working Holiday Visas fully approved and ready to go.

We are incredibly excited to start our journey in Norway. We are looking for meaningful cultural exchanges where we can helper hosts, share our skills, and immerse ourselves in the local lifestyle. Whether you need help setting up a project for the summer, maintaining your property, or just need a reliable team to keep things running smoothly, we are ready to join you from mid-June onwards.
