Beschreibung

After spending almost 5 years working on a PhD, I've got a hunger to reconnect with nature and myself. I can't wait to do some physical labor and get out of my head. I'm very interested in learning about agri/permaculture, woodworking, construction, gardening, animal husbandry, and many other things.

Ever since I left the home of my parents, I've only stayed in big cities, but my rural heart is aching to be in quiet, beautiful and peaceful places.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I'm trained as a (biomedical) engineer, and have a big interest in all things electrical and mechanical. Although my knowledge is mostly theoretical, I have a good intuition for how things work, and how they don't. I love tinkering with small electronics and bikes.

Recently I've been getting into plant care, and growing edible plants in my home. I have a lot to learn, and it would be perfect if my stay at a workaway could deepen that knowledge.

I'm also a decently skilled programmer, and could work on websites, community platforms, etc.

I'm very willing to learn and always eager to pick up new skills.

I enjoy reading fiction and philosophy, hiking, biking, games of all sorts (board or video), cooking for friends, listening to- and playing music
