Hi! I’m Enrique, a 25-year-old environmental scientist with a deep interest in sustainable living and organic farming. I'm an enthusiastic, easy-going and open-minded individual with a solid work ethic and a curious mind. After completing my studies, I now intend to explore living alternatives that enable society to become more resilient and nature-connected🌱

I have 4 years experience managing a small orchard in my hometown in southeastern Spain, where I’ve gained valuable skills in planning and caring for a small plot, and I’ve also done some carpentry work building raised garden beds. I have a solid basic understanding about gardening, carpentry, crop planning and, last but not least… I have pretty decent skills when cooking yummy vegetarian meals! 😋

I graduated as an Environmental Scientist and I specialize in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), where I have 2 years work experience as an environmental consultant. This background allows me to understand complex environmental processes and use powerful tools for planning, representing and analysing spatial processes🗺️(including, for example, permaculture terrain analysis).

I enjoy climbing🧗, swimming 🏊, hiking 🥾, playing the drums🥁and of course...reading a good book 📖. I love being in nature. I love music. I love sports. Most importantly, I am a self-motivated individual, hungry to learn new skills related to permaculture and sustainable living, and enjoy what it has to offer. I am excited about the opportunity to connect and learn within your project!

¡Hola! Soy Enrique, un joven de 25 años con gran interés en agricultura orgánica, vida sostenible y permacultura. Soy entusiasta, abierto de mente, cercano y extrovertido, con una mente curiosa y sólida ética de trabajo. He terminado mis estudios académicos en Ciencias Ambientales y ahora pretendo explorar alternativas de vida que impulsen la transformación hacia una sociedad más resiliente y conectada con la naturaleza.🌱

Tengo 4 años de experiencia en el manejo de un pequeño huerto en agricultura ecológica, he realizado estancias de permacultura y bosques comestibles en el extranjero y tengo conocimientos básicos de carpintería, experiencia en bioconstrucción con adobe y...cocino comida vegetariana muy rica! 😋

Soy un ambientólogo especializado en Sistemas de Información Geográfica, con 2 años de experiencia como técnico ambiental. Mi formación me ayuda a entender procesos ambientales complejos y utilizar herramientas para analizar y modelar información espacial🗺️(incluyendo, por ejemplo, análisis de terreno para permacultura).

Disfruto escalando🧗, nadando 🏊, haciendo senderismo🥾, tocando la batería🥁 y leyendo un buen libro 📖. Me encanta estar en la naturaleza. Me encanta la música. Me encanta practicar deporte. Pero sobre todo, soy una persona motivada, con muchas ganas de aprender nuevas habilidades relacionadas con la permacultura y un estilo de vida sostenible y disfrutar lo que ofrece el contacto con la naturaleza.

- I am a pretty decent cook. I enjoy preparing yummy veggie meals for my family.
- Basic carpentry skills (having done some DIY jobs for garden beds).
- Basic natural building skills with mud and rooftile assemblage.
- I have experience with animals, since at my place we've been a foster home for abandoned pets.
- General childcare (I worked some time as a nanny and love to be around kids).
