Hi there! We are a French-German family, two parents and two boys of 10 and 14. We set out to a family sabbatical of 2-3 months in the US, touring northern California in July/August '25. Can't wait to meet you!
Our kids grow-up bilingual, are super curious, love nature and would love to help too!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We have IT skills, live & studio musician experience, music production abilities, basic handyman skills stemming from growing up in old house out in the country, and from helping out in the parental farm (fencing, repairs, woods/trees maintenance, basic knowledge of various tools in this context...). Some of these farm skills were passed on to our kids too. We are interested in good food, in learning how to prepare it and grow it -- we also know a thing or two in this domain which we'd happily share. We also have some experience as stress coach, and professional expertise in the field of sustainable consumption, which we'd be delighted to share too!

Was noch ...

Lena loves plants and gardening, and has substantial experience with WWOOFing, which she did in several countries in the past during one of her travels around the world.

Emmanuel loves sports, is an IT enthusiast and an aspiring musician with a number of albums composed, produced and published on your favorite platform (Spotify etc. we can send info upon request). Generally good at fixing /repairing things and likes to come up with ideas for improvising, if the perfect material/tool is not around.

The kids grow up bilingual (German/French). Their English is not as fluent, but they learn it at school, and currently make steady progress. Growing up between 2 cultures, our kids are naturally open to cultural differences and discoveries, and even show interest in discussions on geopolitics. They also enjoy the ocean and nature in general including interaction with animals -- as well as various sports and games typical at their age. Last but not least: our kids are willing to help out too!
