Hey! We’re Emily (USA) and Santi (Colombia) — We are an Artist couple. We'll be in Thailand during June and July, looking for spots where we can help out, meet inspiring people, and be part of something artistic.
Emily– muralist, certified massage therapist, sound healer, art educator, and plant lover!
Santi – DJ, music producer, event planner, with a masters in strategic business management.
We’ve worked together on art shows, events, and community projects. We work together well and love creating with others.
WE LOVE:

Natural building & sustainable living (we’re dreaming of building our own place one day soon)

I am fluent in english and I have a working understanding of spanish, which serves me fine while I am traveling or living in central america, but my goal is to become fully fluent in spanish. I am very eager to learn, I would like to practice more, and I like music in spanish as well.

I would like to learn things from my workaway host, but i also have a lot of skills to offer in return. I graduated with a bachelors degree in art education, and I have experience teaching art, creating and selling my own paintings and jewelery and mosaics, painting murals, and setting up gallery shows, as well as doing promotion. I can make promotional flyers for events and do basic editing. I am looking for a workaway situation where I can be creative and expand my portfolio of mural work while beautifying your space. I am interested in interior design and creation of intentional spaces. I want to connect with other creative people. I would like to also have time and space to work on my personal art.
I also have hospitality skills, I am a very extroverted person who has experience as an airbnb host, bartender, party promotor, receptionist and waittress.
My life dream is to start an arts organization that creates a space for artists where they can stay and create art, and that will beautify the community with street art and will connect locals with job opportunities and bring international art connections with small communities. I am looking to learn skills to make this dream a reality. hotel management, event planning, teaching art, mural painting, building, remodeling, sustainable and eco-building, massage therapy, practicing spanish, other art projects, these are the things I am most interested in learning and skill sharing.
